Buchwald and his rich experiences as musician in ensembles for different music and styles ( medieval, renaissance, baroque orchestra, classical music, contemporary avantgarde music, jazz, klezmer-yewish, celtic (breton and irish) as well as concertmaster and bandleader in great demand as musical mate and enables him to act and react instantly with other musicians
Together with Frank Bockius on percussions he builds the SILENT MOVIE MUSIC COMPANY duo; their repertoire is as huge as Guenter´s solo repertoire
Neil Brand and Guenter A. Buchwald form a successful duo since 2001, highly acclaimed at festivals (British Silent, Nottingham, Giornate del Cinema Muto Pordenone, Int. Zeltmusikfestival Freiburg, Int. Stummfilmtage Bonn). They both founded the international Prima Vista Social Club
